Since
Anahata had left Normalville together with Adam Cheater, Tamak had been
living on her own. She had friends, but somehow, she'd missed having
a lover - there were not too many lesbians in Normalville and the surrounding
areas. And so, when she ran into K'nat Alien, and he made a pass at
her, she decided "why not?", and gave heterosexuality a try.

K'nat was a skilled lover, and although Tamak wasn't really a lover
of *both* snails and oysters, she found that she didn't mind an occasional
nibble on her usually non-preferred sexual metaphor. Her time with K'nat
was mutually fun and satisfying, and ended on a positive note.
Although, there was something Tamak hasn't considered, since it normally
was not an issue: contraceptives, and the results of the lack thereof.
But even though she wasn't trilled with the idea of motherhood, she
decided to give it a go - and during her labor decided that it was most
definitely the *only* time she'd go through this.

She ended up with twin boys - one of them, much to her consternation,
actually *white*. Blue, she might have expected, but *white*? What would
the neighbors think of her? Yes, she certainly favored her dark-skinned
offspring.

She named the twins Manilat and Rissen, and watched them grow, giving
only minimal interaction or guidance - motherhood really was not her
thing.

Despite all of this, the kids grew up reasonably well: Manilat could
be quite charming, although he could also be incredibly mean,

and Rissen was a cheerful child who loved to clown around and dance.

By the time they had turned into teens, Tamak had enough of living close
to where her brother had been murdered (she still had no proof, but
she just knew in her heart that old Howard Strict must have done him
in), and decided that she really didn't want to stay around any more.
She disappeared early one morning, leaving her boys to manage on their
own.
They mostly did well - ok, apart from the occasional teenaged brawling
(usually over who got to hog the computer to surf for porn).
