Normalville - 07

I'm doing my best to put everything into something resembling chronological order, with some shuffling to make the storylines read better. Click on the family name to get to the family-only summaries.

It's been over a month since I last did an update of my custom neighborhood. Various reasons, the main ones being that

1. I'm no longer madly obsessed with the game and am catching up on some other, time-intensive hobbies,
2. I had to roll back once and lost a week of game play, and
3. I started to notice that I was playing the game so it'd make for great stories, and not just for fun.

I'm not going back to weekly updates, I'll do them whenever I feel I have enough interesting material and/or am in the mood to work on them.

Note: I still play with the teen woohoo hack, realistic nudes, teen pregnancy, and occasionally have disturbing storylines.

Fortune Family:

I've actually been playing quite a bit with them, but they don't have any particularly interesting story-lines. Both are working on making friends and excelling at work and school. Su Ming has gotten a bit less shy, but still shows no interest in the other (or her own) sex. That's why I don't normally play Fortune sims: they get boring.

I'm trying to find a partner for Su Ming so that there'll at least be an eventual kid to brighten up their game play...

Here's what they currently look like (both are close to age-transitioning):

No particularly interesting story-lines going on at the Cheater household, either. Donald has managed to make it to Mayor, and will age-transition in a day. I've been growing up the children, they're all adults now. The only semi-interesting thing was that Evelynn freaked when she broke out into acne:

When she's not freaking, Evelynn is flirting her way through the neighborhood, mostly with older men.

Felicitas is in the military, and a proud dyke:

S'rul lived at home, wishing she actually knew people, because all she wants is a family.

Daniela is on the politics track and has already moved out. She's a lot more conservative than her father, and is now working for Tobias Breeder as his intern. That's a train wreck waiting to happen...

Oh, and S'rul has taken to speaking nearly exclusively through the teddy bear. I wonder if she's going slowly insane...

A family that saw a lot more action are the Nordics.

First, Svertgart wanted to get into private school, and managed easily, because Hildven charmed the Headmaster. They seem to share an interest in cross-dressing, and became very close friends. Ok, not *that* close. *g*

Hildven generally thinks he's the greatest thing ever - and after growing into an adult, I can actually believe him. He even looks good in his "special" clothes:

Svertgart, now grown into a beautiful adult, tried to keep her romance with Ezekiel going, but since he was determined not to have sex, and she was determined to get him to have wild monkey sex, the relationship couldn't last. It wasn't that Ezekiel didn't love her, but he had vowed to see his sister married and taken care of before he would marry himself, and was too religious to keep an affair going. Svertgart got rejected...

(mind you, I think he just couldn't get it up often enough and panicked. Svertgart had been quite demanding...

)

So now Svertgart poured all of her passions into her books, started to quickly rise in the Science Career, and never told Ezekiel that their romance had produced a child:

At the same time, Holgar Sven finally met someone he really liked, and who didn't mind that he wasn't a genius - and he certainly didn't mind that she was blue. He immediately proposed to marry her, and S'nur wanted a family badly enough that she accepted.

Luckily, she got along great with Svertgart, being pregnant at the same time really allowed for friendship to grow quickly.

Before S'nur conceived, I also gave Holgar Sven a bit of a makeover, so that his children would have a better chance at looking halfway decent. I edited his facial features with SimPE, which is actually not that hard. Mostly, I just gave him lips:

Holgar Sven and Heltwar had earned enough money that the family decided to move into a much bigger home, with an indoor pool:

S'nur gave birth to K'sun, and half an hour later, Svertgart had Swanhild.

K'sun seems to have some cannibalistic racial memories, and he's also trained his cousin to defer to him in all things. These kids might get interesting once they turn into teenagers...

Heltwar is still alive, but not doing anything remotely interesting. At least he's useful in helping with the babies.

Let's check out the Nordic children that have moved out:

Gunnar lives with Jane Rose in the NordicNormals home, and last we saw her she had just given birth to a baby girl, Danarose:

I really really loved their first home, but I lost the house when I had to do the roll-back, and it was too small for them after Danarose was born, anyway. Still, here are pictures (I think it was from www.aroundthesims2.com):

Here's more pictures of Danarose, who's outgoing and nice.

Siegwulf Nordic also managed to find a wife. Mind you, it wasn't that difficult: he decided that Evelynn would make a nice trophy wife (she might have a weird nose, but her father *is* the mayor...), and proposed as soon as she turned into an adult, thus creating the NordicCheater family. Of course, he had no clue that Evelynn already had quite a romantic history as a teen (4 past lovers) - Evelynn certainly inherited the cheating tendencies of her granduncle, after whom the family was named. She agreed to marry Siegwulf, mostly because he was a rising Athlete, and thus earned good money, but wasn't home that much.

However, she hadn't quite realized that he'd want an heir, and she followed the growth of her belly with horror:

And then, when the child was born - it was a *girl* (called Wulfgir, btw). Not what Siegwulf had wanted at all, and you can practically see Evelynn thinking "and this thing is what I had to lose my waistline over?" After that, she started taking contraceptives in secret, because she certainly didn't want any other children.

Instead, she kept the kid in the crib all day long while she started flirting up the help, and the newspaper deliver boy:

Young Alon was extremely cute - and so shy! Evelynn was delighted to work on him:

After some boring afternoons watching tv and harmless cuddling, she finally had enough end jumped him:

Success! The next couple of afternoons were spent having wild money sex in the hot tub:

However, Siegwulf eventually earned enough money to be able to afford a better home. Evelynn just liked that she had a new newspaper delivery guy to seduce:

But Siegwulf finally had enough. When he came home early for his daughter's birthday, he found her being best friends with the gardener, because Evelynn kept inviting him over whenever Siegwulf was at work.

Siegwulf freaked, and started to show a worrying tendency towards violence. Evelynn found herself kicked out of the home, and was forbidden to ever see her daughter again.

Siegwulf was in hysterics. Wulfgir couldn't stay home alone, but to hire a Nanny? Be forced to pay *MONEY* because of a child that's not even the correct gender? Thankfully, he remembered that he had once met Ruth Breeder when he was at a political dinner somewhere, where she was working as a lowly intern. She was such a naive, trusting woman, and of course agreed to help him.

Siegwulf decided that she'd make a very nice replacement, and in return for pretending to like her, he'd get a free cook/cleaning woman/nanny. So he married her, and as an added bonus also got his long-awaited son, Wulfhart, out of the deal. Poor Ruth, but then again, considering that she grew up in the Breeder family, she really doesn't know what she's missing, and she'll be able to lose herself in bringing up her son and stepdaughter.

The family is now referred to as the
NordicBreeder family.

Wondering what happened to Evelynn? Well, she bought a small house, and now works in a custom career - as an "Adult Escort". Sometimes, she also "entertains" selected guests at home - for a substantial fee, of course...

(she'll get her own family designation once I continue playing her)

And then there's Hildven Nordic, but for his story we're going to have to check out the Everyman family.

Poor Winnifred Rose was disliked even by the ghosts, and as soon as she turned into an adult, she left the house so fast she nearly left skid marks.

The reaper finally caught up with Maria Rose, who'd not been doing anything more than sobbing over the graves of her husband and son.

Sally Rose and Will grew up nicely, and both elected to start on the culinary track. They also set up a small chocolate factory in Winnifred Rose's old room, so they could earn some money on the side.

The second Will turned into an adult, he got joined to his beloved Hildven. He knows very well that Hildven tends to not be completely faithful, but Will doesn't care. All he wants is Hildven as a husband, and to eventually adopt a child.

Sadly enough, he'd neglected to mention any of this to his sister, who found out about Hildven when he came out of her brother's bedroom the morning after their wedding night. Will had never quite realized just how conservative Sally Rose is, and she pretty much panicked, packed a suitcase with her stuff and ran away screaming. Oh dear oh dear - where will she end up now??

Let's take a quick look at K'nat Alien. He's now no longer just writing books, he's also supplementing his income with some interesting weeds he's growing.

He has managed to woohoo his way through all the female adult and teenaged townies, and is now working on the female service people - here he just made sure that his house will never be burgled.

He *has* gotten a bit strange - he really loves to stand around yelling "I'm the king of Woohoo!!!".

Well, at least he's happy and harmless... *g*

The closest I came to playing the Breeder family was playing what I've dubbed the BreederAlien family: Abigail, the wife Jebediah Breeder had kicked out when he found out she was having an affair with K'nat Alien, who was quickly joined by Jezebel, the child Abigail had from K'nat, because if she'd been hated by the rest of her family before for her "evil and satanic" eyes, she's was hated even more after they found out she was born in sin.

Abigail was happy at first, finally able to cut her hair and to wear the clothes she'd always wanted to wear (even if they would have looked a lot better on her a good 20 years ago). When she found out that she was pregnant, she cheerfully assumed that K'nat would welcome her and Jezebel with open arms.

The reception wasn't quite what she had expected: K'nat had already forgotten about the affair he'd had, and moved on to other (younger) company. Abigail freaked, and then got violent - but K'nat just got violent right back at her.

Abigail ran home in shame, and locked herself in her room for a week. Once she came out, she was a broken woman... but at least she'd come up with an idea on how to support herself and the children that remained with her: she discovered the internet, and 'pregnant bondage' fetish sites. With a cheap computer and an even cheaper web cam, she could easily support her family during her pregnancy.

During that time, unable to stay in the small one-room home while her mother was whoring herself via web cam, Jezebel stopped going to school and started to hang out with kids from the bad side of town.

Eventually she found someone who also had strange black eyes and strange dark facial markings: Manilat Native. Of course, he's also her half-brother, but she didn't know that:

(Manilat shares everything with his twin, Rissen, so he's also sharing Jezebel. But I didn't take any pictures of her with Rissen, apparently)

The relationship between Jezebel and Abigail deteriorated, mostly with arguments about whether or not to give up the unborn child for adoption once it was born. I was trying to get Jezebel to run away from home, but didn't manage to.

After the child was born (a girl named Delilah, who also inherited K'nat's alien-black eyes), Abigail had to get into more and more strange sexual fetishes to keep up earning money with her web cam, and Jezebel got more and more into the "alternative" scene.

One day while Jezebel was a school, disaster stuck and their little home went up into flames. The only survivor to be found in the rubble? Little Delilah, smiling happily. Hm....

Whatever will Jezebel do now, with no home, a child to take care of, and grades so bad she'll not be able to get a job?

Let's look at a happier family: the CheaterTrash family.

There isn't that much to report: all 3 children have grown up very nicely. Mali turned into an amazingly beautiful teen with a popularity aspiration. Henrietta has inherited Geraldine's intelligence and passion for science, is in private school and getting great grades. Leni is a bit of a strange one - she's a fortune sim with high neat and outgoing scores, I'm not quite sure how that happened - maybe it's because she's always been a rather sickly child, getting one sickness after the other. She still doesn't look very healthy, does she.

Geraldine spends most of her time doing research into various cures for genetic disorders, in the hopes of retro-actively making Leni stronger and healthier. Tinkering with such virii in your own home might be dangerous, but thankfully Geraldine has made sure that she and her family are immunized against them now.

Or has she? Because Lola has been feeling a bit strange recently, since about the time she cleaned up Geraldine's lab and broke one of the vials...

That's it for the families you already know about. But I've also finally imported the last 4 families that I created in my first neighborhood - yeah, I know, I know, I have more than enough families already, but I wanted to get it over with and have everyone in there. I'm not sure when I'll start seriously playing them, but here are their intros:

The Agrophobic Family:

Actually started out as Sarrd Agrophobic and Narg SociallyArkward.

Sarrd spent her time locked in her house, surfing the internet and writing My Little Pony fanfiction. Narg had skin-problems, hair-problems, and personality problems. Strangely enough, the two of them fell madly in love.

After their marriage, they found out that Narg also has gender problems: she is also partially a he.

Soon enough, Sarrd was pregnant. Narg, by that time, had been socialized enough by Sarrd that s/he was able to get a job at a local supermarket and support them a bit better than Sarrd, who didn't get that many people who wanted to buy a CD with all of her My Little Pony porn adult fanfiction stories.

They ended up having twins (one of the times I really really didn't want any... *sigh*), and named them Ronan and Raissa:

The Trash Family:

I liked the family when I first created them, but playing them with my old graphic card was too difficult, the game ran too slow. They run perfectly fine, now, so here they are:

First, there's Nana, a family sim. She's actually quite happy, she's got a bunch of grandkids and can spend her the rest of her life being taken care of:

Then there's their son Jeb, who's a failed fortune sim. He mostly spends his time wandering around naked.

Here's J's wife Macie. She'd like to be a romance sim, but she doesn't quite manage it. The highpoint of her romance aspiration was a short affair with a dark-skinned stranger with strangely shaped ears...

Their eldest daughter is Sally Anne, a popularity girl:

I forgot to take a picture of the re-done Josh, who like his father is a fortune sim. He's embarked on a criminal career, because he wants fast and easy cash.

Next we have Lucille, who quite obviously has a slightly different parentage. She's inherited her father's elvish ears, and seems to also have gotten his neat streak (I created and deleted him in CAS, so I don't have any pictures of him)

And here's Kayelle, she just grew into a child. She's extremely lazy, but very outgoing.

There used to be a Poppa Trash as well, but he kinda kicked the bucket early. Not that Nana minded much, she's too busy watching TV:

The Homemother Family:

Clarissa and SurferDude Homemother, with their daughter Clara. Stop laughing, SurferDude was created to run out on them right after I moved them into their home. Clarissa managed to bring Clara up to child level without running out of money, but now she's pretty close to being completely broke. Here they are after a make-over:

And here's the BlackSingle Family:

Shoona was created as a romance sim who loved sex and had no clue what contraceptives are. She's got two children, one of them from SurferDude, and the 2nd one from a sim that I didn't keep. I don't even remember which of the kids is from what father. The girl is named Shareequa, and the boy is Jamaqual.

I also decided to give some of the Maxis created families besides the Curious brothers a try, and discovered that a lot of fun can be had with them. So I temporarily merged the ones I decided I wanted, edited out family ties and memories to people I was not going to transfer, and put them into my own neighborhood, where I spread them out again. So far, they're mostly only interacting amongst themselves, but they'll eventually merge into Normalville. I put them behind a separate LJ cut, in case someone still wants to remain unspoiled for the Maxis-plot lines. I'm also adding a quick note on what each family is about for those that have never played with these families.

So:
SPOILER WARNING! Don't read any further if you haven't played the Maxis families yet and want to remain unspoilt for their setups.

Let's start with an update about the Curious brothers. I had to replay the last update I posted in part 6, and ended up with a different combination of kids.

But, first of all, here's what they looked like before I gave them a make-over (Laszlo, Vicund, Pascal). The official family setup is that they're all Alien-obsessed, and that Pascal is already pregnant when the game starts, and Vicund will get abducted if you make him look through the telescope. My Pascal ended up with a human-looking daughter because I moved the family to my neighborhood when he was still pregnant, which broke the ties to that neighborhood's Pollination Technician.

Laszlo was the first to get re-abducted, and loved the experience. Next was Vicund, who decided to be totally cool and relaxed about it:

When I tried to get Pascal abducted, he didn't come back pregnant, so I realized that one of the 2 other brothers was carrying twins. Unfettered by pregnancy, Pascal started to get closer to the alien girl they found in their garden one day (she used to be Starr, but I renamed her to Sine to avoid confusion). They quickly moved into a room together.

Meanwhile, Vicund and Laszlo started to bond over their pregnancies:

Vicund had a single girl, Iriale, while Laszlo was the one who gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl: Aksin and Erekosė. They had her father's eyes - it's the first time I've seen that on alien kids in my neighborhood. Sadly, I have no pictures of them as babies.

At the first birthday party, Vicund and Laszlo again show heightened interest in each other:

And here Vicund is thinking that Laszlo looks really hot. He's just too awkward to actually tell him.

Here are the kids in order of birth: note that I gave Aksin and Erekosė contact lenses to make their eyes purple, they're naturally brown. I decided that all green alien kids that don't have the alien-black eyes will have purple ones.

And here's a rather different-looking Sine. I not only changed her facial features (I made her nose much bigger and her lips much fuller), I also gave her pale green skin and natural purple eyes. She is, after all, some kind of half-breed that the aliens just left on the Curious brother's doorstep, so I wanted her to look the part. Changing the skin color and eye color takes quite a bit more work than just changing the facial features, but it can be done.

Now, on the the newly imported families:

The Smith Family (with Singles Family added):

The Smith family has a retired Pollination Technician (#13) with his human wife (Jenny) and two children (Johnny and Jill). Jenny, a family sim working as a nurse, is actually the Curious' older sister, and I re-created that tie after I had imported them. Johnny is a popularity sim who hopes to manage to find a place in the neighborhood. I also added 3 of the 4 girls from the Singles family, because Chloe and Lola are also children of Pollination Technician #13, but born the "traditional" alien way from another father. Lola (the dark-haired one) is a fortune sim, Chloe wants a family. Kirsten, the dark-skinned girl, is a romance sim and was also added to this family merge. The plot line for the Singles family is that they simply all want to live together, but will 4 such different girl manage it.

Johnny grew into an adult, and then most of the characters got a make-over:

Pollination Tech died quickly, and Johnny moved out and married. The 3 girls also moved out again, and I re-created the Singles Family. Jenny and Jill also ended up somewhere else, and the Smith family dissolved. More on all of them further down.

The next combined family consisted of the Nigmos, the Beaker and the Loner family, with the last of the Singles girls, Erin, added.

The Nigmos family consists of Olive Specter and her niece Ophelia Nigmos. Ophelia has only recently moved in with Olive after her mother died. She hopes to inherit Olive's seizable fortune - amassed by Olive mostly because all of her husbands died. Not to mention all the service people who also had a strange tendency to die whenever they came to Olive's house. However, what noone knows is that Olive has a child that was taken away by Social Services, and who will inherit all her money.

Circe and Loki Beaker are scientists who perform horrible experiments on poor Nervous Subject, who they adopted. Yes, he's Olive's son. He's also a total wreck - the Beaker's have encouraged him to have 0 personality points, except for Active, where he has 10. And the poor sod has a family aspiration.

Loki is Erin Singles' brother, which is why I added her to this family for the transfer.

And then there's Ajay Loner, who just wants to meet new people.

After the transfer, the first person to move out was Erin, because her brother Loki got a bit *too* touchy-feely with her:

Loki was crushed - and Olive found it hilarious. Actually, Olive and Loki spent pretty much *all* of their time in the same house just arguing. Olive is a mean old bitch, and Loki is a cold and strange bastard.

Ophelia and Olive moved out next. Olive died the first day in their new home, and Ophelia grew into an adult, and married Johnny, the boy she'd been in love with since highschool. Ophelia is working as a travel agent - tho she's now expecting her first baby -, and Johnny is on the Alien Conspiracy Theory. Well, he should know best that there's something strange going on with abductions and alien kids...

And then Ajay also got a make-over and moved out. He joined the 4 Singles girl in a house; once I fill it up with 3 more sims who have not shown a preference for a specific partner, I'll just play the house and see what romances develop.

Poor Nervous is still being tortured by the Beakers, tho...

Part of the Maxis plot is that Nervous and Pascal Curious are close to being friends, so I recreated this after importing the family. Soon, Nervous came by the Curious house, and promptly made friends with Pascal. And then didn't stop there, but got all cuddly, and then developed a crush...

But Pascal was straight, and besides, he was in love with Sine! He really tried to let Nervous down gently...

... but poor Nervous, with his non-existent social skills, still went nuts and ran away sobbing.

In a grief-induced blackout, Nervous sets the kitchen on fire and then stargazes calmly while Circe and Loki beaker are consumed by the flames.

But what will happen with Nervous now? Will he ever find love and a family?

The Grunt Family:

General Grunt's wife died after the birth of their 3rd son, and now the General has to bring up 3 kids on his own. He does it in the only way he knows how: he treats them like recruits. With varying results: Tank, the oldest, is desperate to get his father's approval. Ripp, the middle son, can't stand his father or Tank and lazes about the house while wondering who to romance next. And little Buck is highly intelligent but mostly left to his own devices.

The first thing I did was to kill off the General, and then I gave the boys makeovers - and discovered that underneath the camouflage paint, Tank actually looks like a sensitive and gentle soul. Awwww... Buck looks grows up very nice as well, and Ripp stays his own, lazy self, only with a better haircut.

Soon after Tank (who's also in the military) grows into an adult, a distraught Nervous wanders by, totally confused as to what to do now that he burned down his home and murdered his adoptive parents. Tank, the big softie that he is, consoles Nervous.

He also invites him in, and slowly, a friendship forms and Nervous begins to bloom. (Mind you, Tank is pretty sure that Nervous was behind the fire and thus the death of the Beakers, but he also knows just how they used to treat him, so he really doesn't hold him responsible). Tank is happy to have someone he can talk to about his hobbies, and Nervous is just glad someone is paying him any positive attention at all.

Soon enough, they grow closer, and eventually, a sweet romance blooms between them:

Eventually, Tank proposes to Nervous, who's ecstatic to accept. With the money that Nervous inherited from Olive, they all move into a bigger house, with enough room for a child or two that they will adopt. *happy sniffle* They're my favorite gay couple right now. I'm also playing that Tank is bringing out the good sides in Nervous, and for each day that they have positive interactions, I'm giving Nervous a Nice personality point. He's up to 9 now.

The Goth and Lothario Families:

Don Lothario is ... well, an asshole, mostly. He's engaged to Cassandra Goth, but he's also sleeping with both Caliente sisters (see later) and his maid.

Mortimer was happily married to Bella, and they have two children, Cassandra and Alexander. However, one day Bella was abducted and never came back. Cassandra is an adult now and ready to get married to Don Lothario - but is that such a good idea?

It's not - Don, asshole that he is, decides to leave Cassandra at the altar. When she collapses into a little gibbering heap, all he can to is try to tell her a dirty joke. And when she doesn't react to him, he decides that she's insane.

But eventually Cassandra recovers and kicks his ass:

Soon afterwards, Cassandra moves out, and Mortimer and Alexander move into a new, big home:

But who's that in the red dress?

Yes, it's Bella. I resurrected her Pleasantville self and she and Mortimer are reunited and happy.

The Dreamer Family:

Darren is bringing up his son Dirk alone after his wife died. He also gave up his job because he wants to make his living as a painter. He's found his muse: Cassandra. But will she want anything to do with him?

Well, considering that Don Lothario left her at the altar, Cassandra is only too happy to accept Darren's proposal, and moves in with him and his son.

Here's their new home:

And here's Dirk, smooching with his girlfriend Lilith.

The Pleasant Family:

Daniel and Mary Sue Pleasant seem to have the perfect marriage - on the outside. Actually, Mary Sue is only interested in her job, Daniel is woohooing the maid, and twins Angels and Lilith hate each other. Mind you, that's not the twin's fault: if you look at their memory, you see that while Angela got all the support and love she could want, Lilith has been ignored totally be her parents.

I didn't keep Mary Sue (who came home from work to find Daniel in bed with the maid, so she left him). Here are the twins after their make-overs:

It's really Angela who starts most of the fights between them. She also has a slight drinking problem already:

Daniel met Jenny Smith soon after being transferred to the new neighborhood, and soon asked her to marry him. Jenny, who wasn't stupid, knew that he'd never be faithful, and refused. She did, however, agree to move in with the Pleasants, bringing her daughter Jill with her. After all, Daniel made a lot more money than she did. Daniel and Jenny work pretty well as a "just good friends" couple, and Jenny is trying to be a good influence on the twins as well.

It seems to be working with Lilith, but Angela spends most of her time with her no-good criminal boyfriend Dustin, who actually moved into her room now.

The Broke Family:

Brandi Broke recently lost her husband Skip in a weird swimming pool ladder incident, and is now trying to bring up her two kids - with a third one on the way. Dustin already is acting out, and has started on a criminal career path. Can Brandi save her family?

Things start out looking badly. Dustin has actually kicked Brandi out of her old bedroom, so that he and his girlfriend Angela can woohoo in the big bed. And whenever Brandi tries to have a nap in Dustin's bed, Angela or Dustin come in and start playing pin-ball loudly. Brandi seems to be fast approaching a nervous breakdown.

But then, in a stroke of luck, she meets Clarissa HomeMother. They quickly develop a friendship, bonding over being single mothers who have been mistreated by their ex-husbands. And pretty soon they discover that they're developing deeper feelings for each other...

When things at the Broke household go extremely badly and Brandi no longer knows what to do, she now finally has someone she can ask for help. And Clarissa discovers that she has quite a talent for managing things, and in a short time manages to sell her own home, move into the Broke home with her daughter and direct workers to completely remodel the house.

As a bonus, she also lays the smack-down on Dustin and tells him that as long as he's not giving up his criminal career, he's not wanted. Dustin stomps off and moves in with his girlfriend Angela (who luckily has a thing for "bad boys").

Brandi is deliriously happy and she and Clarissa finally take their relationship to the physical. It's a total eye-opener for Brandi, who had never really enjoyed sex before (let's just say there was a good reason for Skip to have that pool ladder accident...)

When little Stephen is finally born, he's welcomed into a happy and loving family:

The Burb Family:

Johnny and Jennifer Burb have moved out of the city so that their daughter Lucy can grow up in a wholesome neighborhood.

I've actually fiddled with them a bit, Jennifer is now also a family sim (and no longer a fortune sim), and I've added another child, a boy named Jeffrey - mostly because they now closely resemble a family I had in Sims1 which I liked, and now I don't have to re-create them. Here's one more picture of Jennifer after a make-over, with baby Jeffrey:

And, finally, the Caliente Family:

Nina (the red-head) wants romance, and Dina wants to marry a rich guy. In the Maxis set-up, they're both having affairs with Don Lothario, and Dina is very close to the very rich Mortimer Goth. Since I resurrected Bella, Mortimer is out of the running.

Nina I only transferred accidentally - I forgot to remove her from the family first - so the first thing I did was kill her off. I'd never seen a Death By Flies before, so that's what happened to Nina:

Dina didn't really seem to care: after all, now she had Don Lothario all to herself:

She quickly married him, and just as quickly he suddenly died, of some "mysterious illness".

I didn't have any particular plans for Dina outside of maybe eventually letting Mortimer have an affair with her, but then Tamak Native walked by her house, and they moved from acquaintances to friends to having a crush on each other so quickly that I decided to move them in together.

Tamak really admires how Dina always works out in the nude... *g*

WHEW. That's it for now. Next update... somewhen. I don't think I'll wait another month, because that's way too much work to do in one go. Probably depends on what interesting storylines develop...

That's it for now. Come back next week some unspecified time in the future for more!
