Three new stories on BT's page - two based on "A Distant Soil" by Colleen Doran, and one based on the "War of the Worlds" television show (which is itself based on various adaptations of the novel by H.G. Wells <g>). I also fixed some links in the recs section - please let me know if you find any more broken or outdated links. Maybe I'll even get around to updating the recs themselves one of these days...

I have finally succumbed and acquired a LiveJournal. It's useful for keeping track of fiction recs, and it's a good place for silliness like Inappropriate Elves. I also admit that icons have a certain appeal... Crawford makes one bitchin' mean elf.

Time for the biannual recs update! I've put up a bunch of new recommendations and three entirely new recs pages, one for (relatively) new recs - all recs listed here will also appear on the regular recs pages, marked by a special button - and one page each for Harry Potter and the Anime/Manga fandoms. The new recs are for Andromeda, Brimstone, Card Captor Sakura, Due South, Gensomaden Saiyuki, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Queer as Folk UK, Smallville, and Weiss Kreuz.

Three new stories today, all of them anime - it's a slippery slope. "Ever After" is a long slash/yaoi story set in the surrealistic and intensely symbolic universe of "Shoujo Kakumei Utena" (the anime version). "Metamorphosis" is a short and peculiar prequel. By contrast, "Wings" is a short and straighforward slash/yaoi PWP set in the world of "Card Captor Sakura". All three stories are up on the Other Fan Fiction page.

Also, I revamped the site. Enough Poe already!

And everyone thought it would never happen! There's a bunch of new recs on the "Other Fandoms" rec page - mostly Smallville, but also some Anime and Manga stuff (Tokyo Babylon/X, Weiss Kreuz, Utena and Rurouni Kenshin, to be exact). Now if only I could finish that damned story...
